p.1 #1 · Junior (Princess?) at Miller Creek

If I kayak to the eagle nest at Miller Creek at dawn I can catch the eagles feeding the chicks
The feeding activity goes on for awhile and then the adults fly off to a nearby tree and stand watch
If there is no feeding activity the nest looks empty
The 1120mm rig wrks OK but between the drifting kayak, unsteady setup, and looking at a monitor in an awkward position; getting shots on target can be frustrating for me. Most of the images are with heads down in the nest.
I am pretty sure there ae at least two chicks. The shot of one chick's head shows the adult buried in the nest feeding one or more additional chicks.
By arriving at dawn I am 2 for 2 getting feeding activity.

You are doing quite well Bob. Even on land nests are hard

Nest shots are tough with all the branches to shoot through. Nice adult pose.
