Olympus/OM no longer supports these great lenses. Anyone know a reputable repair center in the US that supports (repair) this lens?
Thanks

well that sucks!!
no one knows of anyone to repair service these awesome 4/3 lenses.
i've always wanted to get a 300 2.8 and the 90-250 2.8.
about a year or so ago I searched around for anyone who might service/repair these two lenses (included Olympus/OM and their certified repair centers) none would. I never bought either lens.
This seems to be a general problem with older lenses that have electronic parts, in some cases even just a focus motor, built in. I tried to get a Nikkor 80-200 mm AF-S cleaned a few years ago. Nobody would touch it, because if it didn't work when it was re-assembled, no spare parts would be available.
While fully mechanical lenses can mostly be repaired and spare parts made by the repair shop, that's mostly not possible with electronic gear. The electronics are simply not being manufactured anymore. It's no problem getting my 1973 OM-1 fixed and its lenses serviced, but I have a small collection of micro fourthirds cameras that have become paperweights due to seemingly minor problems. It's actually rather depressing.
