This is a lovely set Greg. Flight images of the Purple Martins are hard so you did well with getting them. You just reminded me that I have some I took a couple of weeks ago that I should post. Lovely florals as well.

Thank you Morris. They are fast birds, and zip all over the place -- I took many shots, most were of some blurry background with no bird in the frame, or part of a bird in the frame.

I have never taken a Purple Martin image but you now have me motivated to do so! You have some intense flight shots Eric, wow #4 is menacing, looks like huge bird!!

The close ups of the female Purple Martin were obviously, well, close up. She was sitting on one of the nesting pods in the garden and I was able to get really close to her. She was very gracious to pose for me!
