Its finally starting to turn a little green and the snow is going (well coming and going).
I have seen 3 male grizzlies so far this year. The famous Boss in Banff (closing in on 30 years),Bear 181 (2002 male) , and today another grizzly that I am not familiar with.
The Boss would not pose well through the trees for me.
Here is one bad one of Bear 181, who took off too quick for a good picture.
And here are my desparate shots of a new male bear in Kananaskis. Excuse the quality but I am excited by the prospect of Spring. I even put my snowshoes away today.
Comments and feedback would be appreciated. But the light was very challenging and the distances far. And he was not very cooperative.

sorry for the tardy - thanks!. My daughter just delivered me a ganddaughter in Austin. But next week its Grizzlies in Prince Rupert, Grizzlies in Telegraph Cove, and wolves on Cape Scott. Glad you like the bears.
