Yes, the Vintage Line is (iiuc) designed to "allow" for more aberrations / less correction, by intent.

Without pixel-peeping, the bokeh on #2 feels smoother. Not sure how revealing this scene is though. I'd personally take a few more realistic photos. Otherwise you're running the risk of over-optimising your choice based on a situation which may not be relevant for practical shooting.

This was something I just posted to see clarity, contrast and rendering of text on white.

Here is how the nokton performs in a more realistic scenario.
