YES!!!
Many circumstances brought me down the "Skyline Drive" for pleasure and business.
My parents lived in Roanoke, Va. for a few years on Smith Mountain Lake.
You want a cabin? Look here! Fantastic area.....
Suzanne and I started vacationing in Asheville, NC many years ago, and the drive into NC on Skyline Drive, along the Blue Ridge, was fantastic and we always went in October!!!!
You have the "Smokies" there and all things beautiful in Western NC, Eastern Tennessee....
We stayed at a farm outside of Asheville. It had a beautiful cabin and llamas roamed the pastures.
Here are a few pics!
Thanks again!
Dan

Ross, another typical classic RM work......always a pleasure to view your work. You have my vote.
Hi Parul! Good to see you back. I really appreciate your support and kind words! I so love the Blue Ridge. I’ve been thinking of it constantly since coming home, might head to a more northern section of those mountains in June for the wild rhododendron bloom. And then maybe go back in autumn.

I really enjoy seeing your photos from this area! They always inspire me. I haven't been since 2023, planning to go at the end of this month.
So glad these images inspired you, Daniel, thanks for telling me! I hope you have a wonderful time on your visit.
I absolutely love how the mountains are layered with hints of so many different shades of trees. It makes the whole landscape feel alive, almost like the mountains are breathing. And the mist drifting through them makes everything feel so magical and peaceful. These beautiful photos make me want to go out in the mountains and connect with nature this weekend!
