p.1 #1 · Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 PRO FE vs Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM version 1
Hello to all. I am considering getting the Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 PRO for my Sony camera bodies and wondering if anyone has seen a review of it or has an opinion of how it compares to the original Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM version 1? I’ve seen it compared to the newer Sony GM II version, where it seems to not be quite as good but not to the older version 1 or the GM.
Anyone have any thoughts on how it compares? Weight wise the two are very close to each other so no real difference there. But optically? I ask because I can get the Viltrox at a 20% discount for like $478 USD. Quite a bargain.
