I thought I'd share this 3d print model with other Zf owners. This thumb rest is inspired by the one by Kamera Kraft, with the added bonus of not needing to be shipped internationally or have to pay any tariffs. Hopefully someone else finds it useful.

I've been playing around with some settings -- 0.15mm layer height with painted fuzzy skin (0.1mm thickness/point distance) to increase grip. I printed this with matte black PLA but I might try PETG for water resistance as well.
Edit: Even with the fuzzy skin, the PETG was a bit too slippery for me. Back to PLA.
The KameraKraft version made such an amazing difference in how my ZF handled. I can't imagine going without at this point, and stopped looking for grip solutions.
