Ordered low contrast.
FWIW, the LLL site says the images shown were taken with the low contrast version.
I'm getting both versions of the LLL 50mm f/1.9 for review, the Standard and the Low Contrast. That should make for a good real world comparison between the two.
Not much info is available about them. Probably best to stick to LLL for the track record.
The photos they show are compelling, I have my LLL low contrast on the way, I'll wait and see what Fred has to show before buying either the LLL standard or this one..
To answer the above question you probably can have too many 50s, in that it becomes a paralyzing decision of which of the 17 I currently have to use....... and so many get left behind on any given time, but on the other hand I am sure there will be an 18th, 19th, 20th (indeed 18 is already ordered)..... onward and that is just Ms, there are others F mount, Z mount, etc.... I do like the epic vintage 58 mm F1.2 noct F mount Nikon on M, not range finder coupled of course, but a M11 EV1 doesn't matter.

Any of you interested in the LLL 50mm f/1.9 Rigid-ZS6?
No interest. I have enough 50s. I'm familiar with the original lens, but never used it and never heard the "super six" nickname. I thought they might be releasing a 120-format folder, like the Zeiss/Kodak/Fuji models that used that name.

Hopefully you will be able to get a rigid SPII as well, not quite the same lens as the Cook housing with # blades
My low contrast has started its journey per email to me so I will be interested to do a side by side with vintage leica rigid, the SPII and this one on the same subjects and distances. They will probably look like triplets.

Wee's images remind me of the CZJ 58/2, swirl and color-wise.
Makes sense given they’re closely related optically designs (double-gauss, 6 elements in 4 groups).
I still think it is tamer than the Biotar 58, only swirling with the right subject-to-background distance. But need to see more examples to really form an opinion.
