I caught this guy defending his territory at the LA Arboretum. He was pretty consistent on choosing his branches to perch on so I moved around a bit to try and get some different backgrounds.

Epic set of this little cutie Gary. If I'm forced to pick, I think that would put me in the #4 fan club, I like the comp and display of the bird best there.

I screwed up my title. I meant to say Allen's. I'm with you on the confusion though. Google gives me Allen's or Rufous depending on the photo and a couple photos Google is unsure stating could be Rufous, could be Allen's. I'm going with Allen's. Thanks Jon
