I'm always hesitant to post on this forum. The quality work that gets posted here is pretty intimidating. Here's some shots from November on a drive through Arches NP. Shot with the OM-1 and Lumix G Vario 14-140 ll and converted in Nik Silver Efex.
All comments and especially critiques appreciated.

I like what you've got here. Everything in that area is uniformly orange so B&W works well as an alternative...and is certainly my preference. Well done!
I definitely like this monochrome set, Gary! You had some great clouds which add a nice element. The last one is my favorite, I’d print that for the wall if it was mine.

Thanks very much Ross. Yes, I was happy to see the clouds, makes such a difference. Considering the amazing portfolio you must have, I'll take that as a huge and very kind compliment
Courthouse Butte (I think this is what it is called, #3) is the standout for me. It is particularly lovely during wet season, when the slick rock in front of it holds many puddles.
If these were my images I would look to expand the dynamic range a bit and bring the shadows closer to black. Currently the whites are white but the rest of the image barely dips below middle grey.
Do not be intimidated and try not to go give a rats ass about what others think. As long as this is a hobby and you like it you should not care about my or any other opinion.

Really appreciate your feedback. I'm always afraid of going overboard with the blacks. Probably goes back to my learning the zone system back in the early 70's The emphasis was always on retaining detail in the whites and the blacks.

Very nice set and good conversions that look true to the scene. I agree with GroovyGeek though that you might want to play with the blacks to add a bit more contrast. In PS if you hold down option while sliding you can see if you have any true blacks in the image - keep going left until some show up.

Appreciate the tip Jim. I've been using photoshop for 20 years and feel like I still know nothing
