I have an upcoming solo gallery show at Jekyll Island and thought I'd share a couple of images from the upcoming show. I am still culling and working on the final images. The show will be a total of 45 images, some printed on acrylic, others will be prints framed and matted. Print sizes will vary, from 16x20 to 30x40.
The final image I posted is of the clubhouse, that is where the US Treasury was formed.
These are some of the ones that will be in the show. I am still working on many others..

These are beautiful, Michael and I'm sure this is going to be a great show! Do you like acrylic over metal? I'm torn between them and can never make up my mind.

Al
Al,
Thank you! From past experience at galleries, the acrylics have sold better than the metal prints. I prefer the acrylic prints.
They look similar except that the acrylics are thicker and have a bit more gloss to them.

#3 is the standout for me. The contrast on some of the others feels harsh and somewhat inconsistent with the feeling of calm that dead trees invoke for me. But I have not sold a single image in my life so you should probably ignore my opinion.

Boyan,
thanks for the feedback. I forgot to mention, there are 2 sections to the exhibit, one is the title I posted and most of the images are higher key, the other is titled "Wizards of Jekyll Island" those images are darker and have more contrast. The actual printed images have a much wider tonal range as downsize and web presentation tends to bring up the contrast a bit.
I have seen your work and I am very surprised you have not done any type of exhibit.. Your images would sell.

Eh, I am not cut out to deal with customers, I have a short fuse and very little patience for fools. Plus I mostly don't give a rats ass for what others think of my photography

Congrats on the show, pretty neat and you have some great images here.
To pick 45 can be a challenge I bet but will be really neat to see displayed...Kinda a Big Dog.
.
I'm doing about 25 metal prints for a customer with now, all 20 x 30 metal.
Have been wanting to do Sintra and Acrylic but just doing metal for now.
Did 2 samples for them and they turned out priceless so delivering 7 more tomorrow, 7 in a few weeks and balance a few weeks after that.
.
Hopefully you can sell some of those as the cost for 45 is a lot...Again, congrats and good luck with the show.

Metal…Been doing them for years.
I had one of my really good one’s with a Black hawk and crew giving me the thumbs up in my truck to show off to customers and other people and they are always very impressed and surprised at how light they are and how good they look. I need to do some acrylic someday, sounds like they look good. Like the first picture posted here, acrylic should maybe give it a little more depth of field, maybe, on top of looking amazing. You can’t finger print or wrinkle metal and acrylic prints either like a paper print.
.
Yes, heat wave is a coming.

Do you have a visual copy you might share?
As I said, 1st time I had heard of a metal "print".

I delivered the 7 this morning, I did think about getting a picture of them all but a lot of work and they can't get damaged before the customer gets them. I am doing another 7 in the the next week or so, will get you a pix then.

First CONGRATS on your show Michael!
I hope you will "document" your display for those here that cannot attend.
Now...your compositions here are stunning! The play of motion, light, shadows, reflections, clouds all contributing to a wonderful series of images!
Keeps us appraised of your show please.
Dan
Addendum: Might I inquire if you have a "workflow" documented anywhere> YT video? Website.??
I am constantly trying to get some of my images to have that "sheen", for lack of a better term, you display here.
Dan, thank you and no I dont have a workflow posted anywhere. I always start with photoshop raw and from there I go in different directions depending on the image.

Bill, thank you and yes 45 is a high number. Not all will be done in Acryllic. The large prints with be acrylic and anything at 16x20 will be printed, and framed with mat. I have a 44 wide printer so the printing and framing will be done inhouse.
Congrats on that large order... wow... sounds impressive.
I have done some metal prints and love the look, but there is something that I cannot put into words when I view the acrylic prints.
