I will hang on to this if no one snags it in the next couple of days. This is a great copy of a truly exemplary film SLR and I will inevitably kick myself someday for selling it.
Purchased this from Naniwa Camera in February. Very good condition, rated AB and advertised as “not sticky”. This is relevant if you know this era of cameras, a lot of them had the rubber inserts become tacky with age. Not this one; it feels and looks new. I’m calling in a 9 very conservatively.
I put a few rolls through it in Japan and a few more since I’ve been back. Everything is flawless.
If you haven’t read about these, this is kind of in between the F5 and the F6. Has basically all of the features of the F5 without the larger form factor. A really nice camera and my way of talking myself down from an F6.
Selling because I have a way of accumulating cameras that most of you also suffer from. Now this one needs to find a new home along with some other Nikon gear.
Comes with a fresh pack of Japanese Panasonics plus the ones in it and I can also throw in a Nikon cloth strap of the right vintage that I got with it.
