Interesting how just a few widely scattered trees grew to this size out in the volcanic rock, but then died, I assume due to lack of water.

I've visited Craters of the Moon. It's a very stark and desolate venue. That you got so many excellent images from there is a real credit to your ability!
Nicely done.
