I planted this mini-roses bush on the first anniversary of Mom's passing, 4 years ago. Given my certifiable black thumbs, it grows best with benign neglect, and produces a few prolific blooms a year. Small and unimpressive at a distance - pink blobs on a green bush - these mini roses take your breath away at a close up. Here are a few pictures of the new spring flowers.

The third is really nice, Malka!

Thank you! Besides for their sentimental and artistic value, these little blooms were also perfect subjects for my experimenting with aperture and focal length for background separation (or not). The third had the smallest - F11 - to bring out the foliage.

A great tribute to your mother!
A rose bush rests in between my mother and father's headstones.

Thank you Dan. I have this nice image in my mind now, of a rose bush beautifying and embracing the final resting place of your parents.
Mom loved flowers, and roses the most, and she loved taking pictures of them. Makes me feel a little closer to her when I do the same, especially of "her" rose.
