On my 30" monitor I can hear the horns honking, the engines roaring, the hustle-n-bustle of big city life yet also enhance the quietness of the districts less travelled!
Well done photography Marcelo!
Just stunning! Jumps right out at you! The wheel, the crescent moon, olde architecture where the fate of the "colonies" may have been decided....?

Exquisite!!! These images just baffle me. The quality is exceptional and you're shooting in low light situations that would seem to require either very high ISO or slow shutter speed, yet the people (as in #11) are tack sharp and noise is non-existent. You are truly a B&W magician and artist.

Thank you, Dan. You're right about how the British influenced and changed the cultures of many places around the world.
I love London. It's such a beautiful city, with friendly people, so many historic landmarks, and stunning architecture.

Brent,
Thank you so much for your incredibly generous words. Coming from a photographer of your caliber, that means a great deal to me. I'm honored that these images resonated with you.
The low light scenes were certainly challenging, but I was fortunate to have conditions that allowed me to balance shutter speed and ISO while preserving detail. Still, the real reward is knowing that the photographs connected with someone whose work and eye I admire.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts, it truly means a lot.

The sculpture you are referring to it was mysteriously installed in Waterloo Place in St James's, central London, an area surrounded by historical military and imperial monuments. It s a satirical piece by the street artist Banksy, depicting a suited man marching off a plinth with a large flag completely obscuring his face. The piece is widely interpreted as a critique of blind patriotism and imperialism.
