I bought this lens in 2023 brand new to use on the Colorado Trail thru-hike. It performed amazingly. Awesome travel lens. In 2023 on the trail, I had a rock chip the front element when it was in my camera bag. I had the lens serviced just this past week by Tamron, they replaced the front element, cleaned the lens, and restored it to factory calibration. I'm losing money on this but I don't care. It deserves a home. No box. Original caps.
