p.1 #1 · Some birds at school pond.

One of my kids school has a pond with lots of birds. This is my second time going out there to practice taking photos of them. It was overcast and then eventually started raining and I didn't last too long after that

Very nice set Bruce. Ware a wide brimmed hat and keep shooting in the rain. It's the best time

Nice work Bruce ! The low angle you were able to get really adds to these. Really like the Bluejay.

Thanks Morris I hung out for a bit but then wussed out, it was getting quite dark though so I figured I wasn't going to get vary many shots without any light, or at least that's what I told myself!

Thanks! I was out there laying on the grass using a 3d printed "tripod" that looks like a frisbee with a tripod bolt in the center. Worked pretty good.

Thanks Karl! I agree, that Grackle photo is probably my favorite too. I'm glad I got a good capture right as it fluffed up it's feathers and being right there next to the little flower was a very nice bonus.
