I stumbled upon this gentleman reupholstering chairs at his shop down a back alley in the Trastevere section of Rome. He is 83 years old and has worked in this shop for over 50 years. We spoke through a translator (a fellow shop keeper from further down the alley) for over 30 minutes. He is one of the thousands of treasure to be found in Rome.
