I grew up in western Washington many years ago, and remember numerous summers when we camped at Kalaloch for a couple of weeks (or until we got rained out ) and always visited the amazing Hoh Rain Forest. Thanks for sharing these beautiful images that bring back so many good memories for me.
I love that area and your images made me long for returning someday. That old tree, #7, its been a time since I've seen it but it does appear to be lower. This is one those places where seeing it once isn't enough!
I was there over the week! Exactly same places … Kallaloch, Ruby, Cape Flattery and Hoh….. great shots! I was about to post but you made mine irrelevant now! May I know the gear you have used?

Those are gorgeous! I especially like the dawn ones.
Thank you! the dawn here is always rainy and overcast—a true dark natural aesthetic. perhaps that is exactly why the Twilight saga chose to film in this region.

Thank you! according to official NPS reports, due to erosion caused by winter storms, heavy surf, and king tides, the Tree of Life slumped about 5 feet in 2025, so go see it again while you still have the chance.

Thank you so much! but don't say that—you should definitely still post yours! I just checked out your post, and your shots are absolutely beautiful—you captured both a perfect sunset and a bald eagle!
I shoot with Sony A7R4 and GM & G lenses.
