After helpful comments from some of you, I started using LightMe as a spot meter for my AutoCord as/when needed in addition to Sunny16. While it’s annoying to use the phone, I have read online with people that compared to to their external light meters that LightMe is quite accurate. I found this to be true. Exposure are much better even in harsh light—thanks all.
Sadly, when I unloaded my roll, the film got a pinched loose for a second so there’s some light contamination, but I still like the way they turned out.
Fuji 200 + AutoCord
Oh these are great. You are inspiring me to shoot my Autocord! Hit me up if your focusing gets stiff or the lever breaks off.

@_jim_ let me take his LLL 50 Elcan for a test drive. It's an interesting lens with it's 1960's haptics and it's MILSPEC aperture ring that turns in the opposite direction. I found a couple of murals in Old Town Beaverton that I hadn't seen before.
I keep telling myself I don't need a 4x5 but then I see stunning photos like this and they keep pushing me in that direction.

How did you like it? Honestly I've been super impressed with the LLL stuff I've seen. The 35mm asph 1.4 I had ordered some time ago finally arrived today, but unfortunately my MP is being CLA'd now after running into some issues on my trip. The build quality is awesome and it looked really good on my Sony with an adapter
There's a extensive thread covering the Light Lens Lab releases in the Leica thread. Jim has also loaned me the 35 8E. They're good performers and there's a lot to like about them but the designs are ment to emulated the Leica lenses from the 1960's and after using them for a while, you start to understand why lens design has evolved making the lenses easier to use.
I'm glad to have had the opportunity to try them and the rendering is classically smooth with a touch of modern sharpness.
Haven't developed the roll yet but I got one of the other trolls in Vashon last weekend
Got through another roll from Taipei/Jiufen/Shifen - this is where my camera went on the fritz (probably humidity) but things mostly turned out ok. I really like taking pictures of people cooking
Picked up an M3 so I can have a full manual and need to learn my exposure rules. I've only ever shot digital the than a brief foray with a Rolleiflex. Really enjoyed the experience. These were from walking around Austin a week and half ago, Leica M3, Porta 400 and CV 50 1.5 MC II

Nice work with the Elmarit, I'm getting hungry. Gotta use mine more often. What was the failure mode of the camera?
I found a roll of exposed film. Unfortunately, I found it on vacation and was expecting an unshot roll.
Tmax 100, expired 1990 (as I remember), D-23 with 12 drops of benzo. Nikon F3. 105 for the first one and a 35 for the second (as I remember). April 5, 2025.

Thank you! I think the humidity there just kind of did it in. About 2/3 through the trip it wasn't metering correctly due to a stuck ISO dial and the framelines got stuck on 35. Wasn't the end of the world but made things a bit more interesting
I honestly don't know the last time it was CLA'd - I never did over the last 5 years and I don't know if the previous owner ever did either.

Some great scenes there, I love the "Cat on a hot motel roof", and the lifeguard at the lake!
Though I think something has gone wrong here with the exposure; the shots kinda look like shots that are underexposed by quite a bit, and then auto-corrected during scanning (bit dull and grainy, especially the shadows, bit of a color shift as well).
That, and / or the film is quite old / was badly stored, is that possible?
Portra 400 has a huge latitude, you can find exposure tests with it online that show it definitely handles -1 underexposure and +2 quite well, so my guess is you severly underexposed and / or the film was bad.
