I had a partial roll of old expired Fuji 200 - I think it was Super something or other. I shot it at least a year ago after letting it sit around for about 15 years. It came out a bit red, but I remember it was redish even when fresh, I had been in a hurry, so I hung my camera on my neck and pulled the film out - ripped in two, put the exposed on a reel & in a tank, and labelled the cassete with a black sharpie - couldn't hardly read the original markings.
I got this film about ten months ago - Kodak 2238. I had never heard of it before - iso 25. It has absolutely a perfectly clear base. Even more clear than techpan or panatomic-x. It is a contrasty film so I will use it on overcast days, and with the light behind me for the remaining rolls.
I had a second go at converting the 6x9cm Voighlander Bessa to a poor man's Xpan format, and it worked this time. I think I fixed the light leak, and got the collimation correct this time. Problem with such long verticals is posting wouldn't look right. I hear someone on here likes these triptych thingies.
