I hope that the crew here will understand this posting. I had a few 5x7 negatives that were misfiled many years ago, only to be found this past weekend. They were shot by me while on holiday (July 4th) in 1978. This photo of my family and friends was taken on my families' dock on Highland Lake, Bridgton, Maine. I still have the folding field camera, a "Century" that came with a CP Goerz 210mm f6.8 lens.
Question: Didn't we use to have a thread titled "Recently scanned old film images", or something like that?

Hey Edd! Welcome and I don't think anyone cares if you post old pics here. We all would love to see them!

Love that pic, so serene! Definitely take that Konica, the pics you posted from it show it’s no slouch. And it is so freeing taking a camera that handles inclement conditions.
I briefly thought about taking a pair of Nikonos Vs but they are too serious, and you need to set focus, maybe adjust the aperture, and wind on manually. Plus no flash. The p&s cameras were so much easier to deal w while kayaking esp because I’d have to ‘teach’ Dr G a new camera when frankly the Fuji’s are all that we needed.

Really rather good! The Fuji is such a great little (or, rather, not so little) camera.
Are they both little or no post-processing? If so, it’s quite a contrast.
(Please also note that I’m refraining from saying that there’s something missing that I can’t quite put my finger on.)
Very minimal processing. The Fuji was a straight negativelabpro conversion, then I added a little pink tint to eliminate the slight green cast.
Z7 was pretty much as is - raw capture with slight white balance adjustment in post.
Here is another Dr G took with the Fuji - just me and the San Simeon pier:

Thanks. I suspected it was very little.
And that’s certainly a great pier.
Yeah, the problem I have found w NLP is if there is a lot of blue in the scene it will try to really warm it up. So w the pic above I turn the conversion profile off - usually I have it set to neutral - and then it is fine albeit w a slight green cast which is easy to get rid of by adding a little pink in Lightroom using the tint slider.
