Great entry but a bit shallower DoF would have been preferred IMHO. As it is, the BG is a little distracting.

Wow, thanks Patty, Chad and Mark! I'm getting some nice feedback for this assignment. I went back and did some additional PP to make the colors more vibrant. I always worry that I'm overdoing it.

Hey Dan, great minds think alike! I found the exact same thing last weekend -- only I was too slow to get mine in...*sigh*. I really like the color of the leaves in the background. I also like the texture of the bark.
