I voted for this, but I REALLY need more DOF. Not being able to see the food is actually painful to the eyes...at this distance, aperture would need to be around f/11. Still fantastic lighting and meaning.
Zachs, the dof is deliberate. What I was trying to say was that the act of giving and receiving are more important than what is given or received. To me, charity is that act - done by people (the foreground hands). The oatmeal is so simple - so insignificant compared to the actual act of giving - I was trying to minimize the object, and promote the act of charity. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for the vote.
