Our hero, fighting his last stand, comes face to face with a grenade that will surely be his demise if he cannot return it to the enemy trenches before it explodes unleashing its wrath on him and his comrades.
Thank you! It took a few shots to get it right as I had to get up, walk around the setup, be sure not to get dirt on the camera and ensure the rifle butt ( in the smoke ) and pistol (under my other hand) were in the shot, go back and hit the remote again and again. There was a boot at the top but you cant make it out in the smoke. I think it was worth it! Kind of an awkward self portrait haha.
Smoke was done with a few wooden matches burning in a small hole just in front of my left hand hidden by a clump of dirt.
