We're doing major construction in our kitchen and living room since the beginning of the year and I've been capturing the destruction and reconstruction along the way.
Fiat Jolly designed for the Olympics in Rome in 1960. a good friend of mine has one in Italy inherited from his mother. Great fun and in the 80's we once drove it from Padova all the way too Bolgheri in Toscana, very uncomfortable with the wicker seats but a lot of admiring looks
My Wife and are spending the weekend on the italian Rivera while she shops for a new vacation home at the beach here. I am currently sitting on the terrace of our room in the Excelsior Palace Hotel in Rapallo.
Sunset is shaping up to be beautiful so we are having a glass of wine and bread sticks while I take pictures on my M11 and 35mm Summilux. These are looking Northwest to the point at Portofino. Stunning beauty in this area. Expect to see them when I return to Parma on Monday.
P.S: I had decided to NOT open a bottle of italian wine tonight but you seem to be a bad influence.
That tripod and head is left over my my Nikon D850 days. I usually only use it in studio these days. I do have a light tripod and head setup for the M11 kit. But this was a drive trip, and the Doormen carry everything to and from the room. I anticipated doing long exposure so opted for stability over weight savings.
We switched to Franciacorta as a beverage. After all a recent study found that Italy has the best and lowest cost alcholic beverages in Europe. I don't think the price thing holds up at 5 star hotels like this one however. My Wife books our travel. You know how that goes...

Great pics. Been there, done that. Ours was a complete gut, relocated new pluming, and new wiring.
Ours took from the end of November through the end of the year.

Good luck!
Yeah, we took down a wall and relocated plumbing and electric. This project is taking 16 weeks!
Finally, the weather broke and the sun is shining. A chance to play with the LLL AA on the M11. All shot at f/1.4. The monochromes are HC Monochrome profile jpegs.
