Pairing the almost 70 year old Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM with the M11-P has been really fun. Amazing what Canon was able to do in putting together a very well-corrected and neutral lens in the 1950s!

I think you misunderstood how I am saying things-
Everything priced, used cameras, lenses, LLL products etc- I can find all of them cheaper in the US. Nothing was a value to buy in Japan.
the only good buy I found was the new Leica EV-1 was about 8K but I don't want one For example the new 35 Noctilux was 1800 ish dollars more expensive in Japan then in the US-
So the current strong dollar vs Yen wasn't helping us
