I do love the character out of it at 1.2 but sometimes I find the CA isn't that pleasant when there's strong light. With that being said I still want one someday, it really has a lot of texture (micro contrast?) in rendering which I love.
shows how little I know and appreciate. Yes I've noticed that many of my lenses aren't correctly focused when lens is focused on the infinity mark, but I never thought much of it. Maybe because I'm rarely zeroing in on infinity.
Meanwhile this Voigt (which I bought simply because I was intrigued by the 35 nocti wide open but didn't want to shell out $10K) is a low light as well as 3D machine. Examples:
Photowalk with my daughter downtown today. I'll fully admit street photography scares me and takes me out of my comfort zone. I tend to stick to post cards, geometry and shadows.
