Testing my anamorphic rig. Recently received cheap diopters to test close focusing ability.
This way, I can see what diopters to invest in.
Seems to be able to focus using +1 diopter.
Though I see that you need interesting subject within the total frame , otherwise it's boring,as this one is to me.
Shrug, it's fun to play with...
- GH5
- Metabones EF<>m43 Speedbooster 0.64 XL
- Minolta Rokkor PG 58/1.2
- Kowa 2X Anamorphic for Bell&Howell
- cheapy +1 diopter
Original is: 10368 x 3888
Had to wade into Little Redfish Lake as the shoreline is flooded back into the forest from the high spring run-off. The light only lasted about 5 minutes before the rising sun moved into the cloud bank. 20170702-_7020049 by Aaron English, on Flickr
Pen-f 12-40mm.
New to Micro Four Thirds. I've been shooting Fuji for a several years, but each system has its advantages if you work them right. Getting used to the differences and trying to make some nice memories using a OM-D 10 Mk II with the EX 12-42 kit lens.
General observations are I need to watch my highlights (headroom and the floor are different than Fujis), make sure the full legendary stabilization is on by default (why partial out of the factory?) the RAW files are wonderful to work with in Capture One, and the lenses are very small...great for a guy with lots of kiddos (six by Tuesday) and needs light and easy.
I know the menus are different but so far not nearly as complex as I heard about on the boards.

Thank you, I just bought this used body and lens off the buy/sell forum really impress with the metering, color and WB from this little cam, very little post work required and the tiny lens is more then OK for me.
