Some great photos on this page !

The Shard has definite Mordor vibes

Andy, great capture of the waterfall.

The street art bears a strong resemblance to Sandro Botticelli's "Birth of Venus".

Birth of Venus, Uffizi Gallery, Florence. Borrowed from an earlier visit, it was too crowded this time.

So many beautiful leggy women pedaling (and paying) for the sole benefit of one man. Makes me jealous.

Indeed! Probably a 'hen' party. Alcohol served in transit too.

Andy,
The layering really works. Nice comp.

Fingers crossed that Scotland do well in the upcoming World Cup.

Thanks. I'd like to see what you come up with. Your butterflies are surely different form ours. Expect lots of bad pics!

Butterfly-at-rest is what I settled on for now. They take the fly part of their name seriously. And they zig and zag as if I'm pointing a gun at them.

A Blue pansy butterfly, showing both sides of the wing. Z50 + AI NIKKOR 135mm f/2.8S for reach.

Great pics of a lovely creature!
I've never seen a butterfly that didn't zig and zag.
