Quite, I was thinking along the same lines of dropping sugar cubes in, but don't have a clear mug. There is no way I'd have come up with a shot as good as this. As you've said give it a go Steve, I still might, but your shot is going to eclipse mine by miles... unless I can do something pretty unique! I was just rigging up a high speed flash setup and bought some sugar cubes when I saw this, so might as well carry on for now, even if it is a placeholder.

Andy, looking forward to whatever you post. I always enjoy seeing what other people come up with. There are some really talented and imaginative people on this forum.
I'll echo everyone by saying it's a great pic in every aspect and I'm sure it'll be a top contender but the colour reminds me of tea. Seeing no one mentioned it I guess it's probably my twisted mind playing tricks on me again.
Yakim - Thanks for commenting. Good eye. I did water down the coffee (I'm a dark roast guy) so you could see the back light better. It also made it a little closer to the background color, which is what I was trying to accomplish as well. Thanks Steve
