I just got back from a wonderful (albeit quick) trip to North Carolina where I taught a natural light photography workshop. We had 2 children and 1 gorgeous expecting mama modeling for us. I never use \'real models\' as I prefer to work with normal people, so none of these 3 had any modeling experience. I haven\'t dug into these images much yet but wanted to share a few favorites I have edited.
The biggest challenge I think for any portrait photographer is establishing a genuine connection between yourself and the model - this obviously involves getting your subject into a comfortable place in front of your camera...
