I think the price is essentially the same as CV 35/1.2 II which comes without a hood in the box, so in that sense it's not overpriced. Usually the E-mount glass has been more expensive than the corresponding M-mount glass from CV, they have the electronic contacts etc.
I do think APO 65/2 is possibly underpriced in comparison to other CV E-mount glass.
