my 135 was supposed to allocated by sony pro support. sent to my dealer and available to ship to me at launch. but they are not getting back to me. so I assume they are not able to fulfill it at launch time.
nikon nps has been on-point with these situations for me in years past. lots more experience though!
I can't wait for anything. So, I placed an order with another dealer directly, who was showing 5 in stock at 1215am, today. I know that at 1225am, they showed "special order". I called them today, at 11am to check and they said, wow we had 5, and put them online at 12am, we got 11 orders really quickly, thanks to google. and all of those people saw "in stock". so we don't know who is getting it yet, we'll call you back. they called me back and gave me a tracking number and it's delivering to me tomorrow.
IF I do get an allocation from sony support, sent to my dealer, I can make that available to someone here who has over 1000 posts. you would pay the dealer directly. it is procam in MI, sony authorized. I haven't paid him, so you would just be taking my reserved lens. otherwise, it's just going to go into his pool.
