I just got my hands on the 85mm 1.8 s as well. I love it. Coming from a Sigma 85mm 1.4 EX DG HSM (non Art), there is a big difference. Sure I miss the f/1.4, but more in a theoretical way, rather than practical, as I used that lens mostly at f/2. The Nikon is better wide open than that Sigma at f/2, at least for my taste.
Here are some shots from yesterday. All at f/1.8, except the one with fir branches which is f/3.2
