Yeah, I hear you. Having a rough idea of the edits made in post would be educational for a lot of people here. I can tell you that for mine, I dropped the highlights a little, brought up the shadows a bit, then adjusted the white balance to make things a little warmer than originally shot. I then tweak the levels a little bit to make things pop a little.
