Īle aux Perroquets is a tiny islet in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and it's an absolute birder's paradise. I was incredibly lucky to spend a few hours there last week; wish I could stay for a month.
I was mostly shooting puffins - my camera gravitated to them all by itself - but I also photographed razorbills, bank swallows, common murres (common murre in bridled form is included below), and black guillemots. Some shots of these birds are included below to break up the onslaught of puffins.
I mostly shot with a 7D2 + 100-400 and 600 (with and without a 1.4x). 600+1.4x on crop was ideal for shooting birds from above; handholding the v3 was awesome. There might be a couple of photos taken with a 1DX in here but I mostly wanted to maximize reach.
