Received the 28mm SE version of the lens today. Surprisingly B&H had it in stock and I got it in 2 days! At least the SE version doesn't feel cheaply build for a $300 lens and the plastic mount doesn't bother me. I took it out for a spin and asked Her Majesty to allow me to take few pictures. Overall I'm quiet happy with the lens, except the sunstar is almost non-existent. I was thinking whether I should take the FTZ adapter with Nikon 28mm 1.8G or the z 28mm 2.8 option, and going by the results, I think the latter is a better option for a lightweight, carry everywhere setup.
