When I think of what the American Southwest is known for, it’s the grand vistas and icons that likely stand out for most folks. I love the big scenics, and at the same time I find there is a softer, more nuanced mood to the Southwest that I very much enjoy experiencing and trying to capture that essence. Here is a collection of rocks, badlands, trees, and quiet small sections of canyons in Utah and Arizona from my winter trip that I hope you enjoy.
