Agreed. I've been on the fence for a few years about getting one (I'd go for the original RX1 myself) on eBay but these and other photos in the thread are pushing me over the edge.
It is a lovely camera that - at least the Rii version - has aged well. Having the higher resolution sensor and IBIS and the early version of face/eyeAF add to the already amazing lens and nice form factor. My only regret is not having gotten one sooner.
The most relevant comparator is the Leica Q2. The Q2 has a nice viewfinder and focuses faster - though not necessarily accurately and has somewhat more intuitive control placement, but everything else is equivalent (IBIS, resolution,…) or is worse weight, form factor, ergonomics…or is much worse (lens, lens, lens, price). I thought I would love the Q2 and settle if I got an RX1Rii. Instead, I was very disappointed by the Q2 and loved the RX1Rii.
