I always miss my hummingbirds when they leave for the year so I am going through this years photos looking for my favorites and thought I would post a few. We always plant a lot of flowers to draw the hummers and this year I was concentrating on catching the hummingbirds on the flowers. I am always looking to improve so suggestions are welcome. I think these are all ruby throats but if I am wrong please let me know. We have the occasional rufous but I have never been able to positively identify one as a rufous.
