I think the plots below will convince you to get the Apo Lanthar
As you can see, the MTF values @ 30 lp/mm and f/2 of the Apo Lanthar are higher than those of the Zeiss measured at *20* lp/mm! The Apo Lanthar MTF values at 40 lp/mm are significantly higher at both f/2 and f/4. MTF curves are flatter too, thus indicating a more even performance across the frame.
The plots refer to infinity focus.
For landscapes/cityscapes, the Voigtlander is preferable, definitely.
