I pre-ordered from Kenmore Camera about 2 weeks ago and got mine yesterday.
I had one about 6 months ago, loved it, took it to Peru and I'd say it gave me some of the best travel/street shots I've ever taken.
At the time I had a Q2 and a Q already and wanted to consolidate and hadn't tried the Q3. Sold the x100 and Q's and bought the Q3. After a few trips it was obvious I don't like shooting the Q3 much, I mean, it's as big as my M with a 28 Summilux attached almost, so it doesn't make sense for me. (I usually bring an m and or a fixed lens body for travel)
I just couldn 't stop thinking about the x100vi.
I agree with the post above regarding the AF-C, it works really well for me (with wide tracking), especially for street, for quick focus on faces.
I also agree that there is something special about shooting a fixed lens body, it's just different, like shooting a RF. This lens, with this sensor on this body though, is really fun.
Nice to have it back in the stable.
