Re: Fuji GFX Image Thread - all cameras and lenses
I was invited to shoot a couple mock beach weddings. No light-stands were allowed on the beach, so most of my shots were available light with a few taken with a Godox V100 on-camera flash (I really dislike the flat lighting from on-camera flash). I used a GFX 100S II and the GF 55mm f1.7 & GF 110mm f2 lenses. I desaturated most of my shots, with some toning applied.
I am becoming more reticent to do these shoots, in the future, as I do not enjoy shooting young folks with up to 90% of their bodies covered in tattoo's - many of them with demonic symbolism or content that is disturbing in nature. I realize that I am getting old, but I do not get it! I do not mean to offend anyone, but I really would like to better understand this social trend that is having such an impact on people photography.

It seems that many young people are going mad with constant new ink. I realize that I am getting old, but I do not get it! I wonder how they will feel in twenty years when the ink colors have faded, their skin has aged/ wrinkled and tattoos' may not be in fashion, anymore. I do not mean to offend anyone, but I really would like to better understand this social trend that is having such an impact on photography.
