Thank you for your thoughts. I will look up those GetDPI threads. I never knew the BSI sensor in the 100C had issues like you mentioned. A mini IQ4 was exactly what I was hoping it would be.
I was told the focus pixels would soften the image compared to a sensor without them. But in hindsight it makes sense they could cause other problems too. Especially as the angle of light becomes less direct.
I did see some of the LCC profiles available in various comparisons, but I'm yet to play with them myself. I quite like the look of the Trichromatic with its standard profile. I should probably head in this direction.
Regarding Phocus. Yes, it needs an overhaul. Badly. Or better yet, perhaps it's time for Hasselblad to offer an olive branch and make peace with Phase One, and try and get C1 support.

And I wonder if the Imacon guys at Hasselblad are even still around, or long gone? But then again, after what Hasselblad put Phase through (especially at the time, when Phase was small, young and vulnerable) they might not be ready to forget and move on.
