(In the beginning, I shot with a Pentax K-1000 from 1988-1998.)
1998: Rebel G with 28-105 f/3.5-4.5. I wanted the Elan, but I had to be frugal.
2003: Powershot G3 (remarkably good photos)
2008: Digital Rebel XTi (I hated this camera. Sold the kit.)
2011: Powershot S95
2012: Purchased first L lens, 24-105 f4. Others followed.
Late 2012: 5D Classic (used). I bought a second one at some point. Still I love this camera but do not use it anymore.
Late 2018: EOS R. I think it was an underrated camera.
2024: R50 for grab and go. The autofocus blew me away. Several primes and a Sigma 18-50 followed.
2025: R8. I planned to buy the R6 II, but it was so awkward in my small hands. The R8 is pretty spectacular, but I love the sturdy R6 II body.
