Recently returned to photography while photographing my kids’ concert and theater performances after winning a Canon T7 kit. Like many photographers, that quickly snowballed into better glass and longer reach.
A bargain Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS with an unknown faulty IS unit sparked an unexpected interest in Canon lens repair and restoration. After diagnosing and repairing the IS assembly myself, I began buying, repairing, testing, and shooting with Canon EF and RF lenses. Currently shooting with a Canon R8 and a repaired RF 70-200mm f/2.8. I enjoy both the technical and photographic side of keeping great gear working for years to come.
