Took my RX1rii to the pool and I was pleasantly at how well it worked. My older rx1 used to struggle with focus and I’d miss most of the shots. Even the videos looked great.
Edit: sorry, not sure if that Dropbox image is working… first time image post fail.

Dicapac WP-S3. I get nervous every time I use it, but my Rx1 was always my beater camera, so it gets the dunk. It’s not a great fit, and you’ll miss more shots than you’ll hit, but it’s a lot of fun when it works. I tend to not obsess at staying at f2, unlike when I’m on dry land. Sometimes I’ll even just go to auto, sports mode (gasp) because it’s so hard to nail the settings when you are under water.

I continue to be impressed by the way the RX1Rii renders straight out of the camera. It's very valuable for everyday shots that you would have otherwise taken with your phone. It adds some special organic sauce to it. I did very little editing to these just let the natural light do its thing. If anything the past year tells you, capture as much memory as possible because you just never know what tomorrow holds.

I might only print and post the tripod-steadied, focus-stacked, ND filtered, remote shuttered, exposure blended shots from 6 am, 6 pm, and 2 am, but the professional level casual images bring me so much joy from my photo library.
Great pictures! They will stand the test of time and be a joy to look at years down the line. Can't say the same of the selfies and camera phone pictures I take. I also hate the camera on S10+ and can't wait to get the new Pixel.
