The zm 28/2.8 seemed not quite as nice as the g28 to me, this wasn't really a sensor issue so much as a lens issue. Many other users of both on film report the same and zeiss's own mtfs show the g to be a bit better. They both suffer a little sensor based detriment on aps-c sensor and a huge one on FF sensors without pcx filters or thin filter conversion though.
Thanks for the reply. I sold all my contax g lenses few years back. As I bought a as-new nex6 recently, I have been considering to try g28 again as some of the images it produced on my old nex5n were outstanding (more about this modern yet balanced rendering to me).

Rx1
my daily driver since 8 months. My other gear is collecting dust for any personal shooting. It's just such a compact piece of kit, and brings home to goodies

Some pictures from a road trip I took to New England in 2022 to see the fall colors. First one is from an old British fort in NY (Crown Point), and the other three are from Acadia National Park in Maine. All shot with an original RX1 and jpeg OOC.
This thread is the primary reason why I decided to buy a RX1 back in 2014 and would like to keep this thread going.
